fglrx problem

http://crunchbanglinux.org – I have just installed fglrx-driver, but it is not working correctly. I'm running the most recent backport version of crunchbang and i have an ATI hd3200 (mobility) graphics card. fglrxinfo outputs:X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation) Major opcode of failed request: 135 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 19 (X_GLXQueryServerString) Serial number of failed request: 12 Current serial number in output stream: 12Can anyone please tell me what's wrong? I have this same trouble running compiz, blender, or simply typing "glxgears" into the terminal:

I am running Ubuntu 12.04; the pc's graphics card is a Radeon HD797M, with Intel switchable graphics.

My problem seems similar to some already reported (e.g. here) but the solutions in https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/ATI fail in my case.
