I have installed the multilib-devel packages as the referenced post suggested, but I still receive the following error message when attempting to compile wine-mono package either with makepkg or with yaourt. checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking host system type...

Ha s anyone had any success patching wine and getting it to compile,

I have patched it and made sure all the 32-bit dependencies suggested by openSuse were installed and it won't compile ...

there must be someone who plays cutting age games who has come across this and solved it,
