I was using Fedora13 and upgraded it to Fedora14 using preupgrade. But while installing Fedora14, it threw unexpected error and machine did not boot. So I decided to install fresh Fedora16. Installation of Fedora16 was successful. But when I logged in, the screen size was unusually large. I tried display options. But I could not fix the issue. My PC is Dell Optiplex 780. I did 'yum update'.
I've just upgraded a machine from fedora14 to fedora17 and, while I don't have any problems with usb disks and pen drives (which are recognized as mass storage), I can't mount my camera canon sx120 IS.
i cant install postgresql9.3.1 in my linux fedora14 machine, when i try to install, this installer reqires root permissions.
Evenafter i enter the root password with user root, got an error, password/username incorrect. what is the reason?
