Hi,
Today I bought a new Samsung Series 9,NP900X3C-A01SE laptop/ultrabook to run Fedora on, i knew there where some problems with some f-keys and suspends but as it is now I even can't install it :-(
There is no opictical drive so I have a USB memstick which I have used to try install it with.
I have internet connection from isp that use mikrotik. So if want to connect to internet I must to login to mikrotik login page. My problem is isp is limiting the login. So if I want my phones, tablet, etc, I must disconnect my laptop first.
The question is, can I share this connection within the access point. So my access point is do login and get dhcp address automatically.
I've recently designed the circuit board for an embedded ARM system, and the next step is to work on the software to run on this hardware. I've generated the root file system using Buildroot. I am using the Linux 3.0.4 kernel compiled using a cross-compiler.
Attached to one of the USB host ports on this system is a Atheros AR9271 WiFi chip capable of being placed into AP (access point) mode.
Greetings!
So far I have tried this guide http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=217600 to no avail.
Hi,
I posted this in the laptop section but haven't had any responses. Are there any network gurus that can help diagnose my wlan "random" dropout/no connection problems? Thanks

Can't seem to do it, wondering if anyone knows how? Normally there's something in sshd_config that can be switched to true or yes to allow root login but I can't see it in fedora 12.
I can login via root at a terminal no problem, just not via ssh, I get access denied every time. Also, I need to login using password authentication.
After several failed attempts to install nvidia hardware drivers that resulted in an unusable system, I've been wondering if there is an easy way to get back the system without having to reinstall entirely?
I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find the answers to my questions. All the samba tutorials have been far to advanced for what I'm looking for. Here is what I want:
1) Have one folder on my Fedora11 box shared
2) Be able to drag and drop files to/from my WinXP laptop on my home network by doing start -> run then typing \\192.168.x.x
