Hi,
I've been trying to boot and install from a live-CD of Fedora 17, on my laptop. The laptop is a HP g6-1150sd with an Radeon graphics-card. But after booting the live-CD, the screen goes black. Is there a boot-option I can give at start-up, so that I can eventually install from the live-CD?
Hi Guys
I have no issue installing fedora 15, but I cannot install f16 or f17.
One of my Fedora servers was rebooted this morning and hung on the loading screen. I want to run fsck on the server but am unable to get to a prompt to do so. I am new with Fedora so any assistance would be appreciated.

ETA - Found one of the problems.
Hello everyone,
I am new here and to Fedora. I just loaded fedora 17 and I really like it alot even over other distros that i've tried. I just wanted to know from those of you that are well aquainted with fedora, what are the best post installation packages that I can install. I know my way around the OS pretty well now but I want to make sure I have everything I need package wise.
I'm trying to install Fedora 12 32-bit on an HP Mini 110 netbook and the system hangs at "waiting for hardware to initialize...". Using the nomodeset kernel parameter does not help. I have tried both the PAE and non-PAE kernels through PXE booting and I have the same problem.
