Is anyone having trouble installing Guest Additions on VirtualBox 4.2.10? I want to install Fedora 18 (64bit) Guest on an Ubuntu Host and so far so good, except for the Guest Additions. Here is feedback from Fedora OS:

The Fedora 17(x86_64) 64-bit and 32-bit(i686) version.
I burnt both image files to CDs.
Verify was successful.

I upgraded some old systems before from fedora 4 and fedora 6 to fedora 9 and 10 using the cds, When I booted the cds of fedora 9 and 10 it detected the old installed fedora and offered to upgrade it, It sounds nice, I chose to upgrade and every thing went fine, The old fedora 4 and 6 became 9 and 10.
The new version of Fedora is released. Its Fedora 13 with codename Goddard. This new version of Goddard comes with many improvements like automatic print driver installation, automatic language pack installation, redesigned user account tool and experimental 3D support for nVidia card.
I am not too familiar with Fedora.
I’ve just install gOS Linux in my Windows XP machine using VirtuallBox. Like always, after finish installing the OS, I continue to install VirtualBox Guest Addition on my fresh gOS. At the first try, I had an error message telling me that building Virtual Box Guest Addition failed.

I have Fedora 16 32+ bit installed and I would love to try Fedora 17 which I have downloaded as iso image and written to a DVD. The iso image is no longer there. How can I try Fedora 17? Can I use an application like VirtualBox? How to install the same on my Fedora 16 machine?
