Hello, I use Fedora 17 (Beefy Miracle). I turned off my computer and booted Windows 7 for a few days, then booted back into Fedora 17. For some reason, Fedora booted twice, then stalled.

Fedora 17 was released a little over a week ago, and as the Fedora project leader put it, there are an unusually large amount of new features in this release. There’s a great mix of new stuff for everyone, from developers to everyday web-browsing users.

We have gotten used to Fedora not making the deadline, so it wasn't surprising when the delay announcement came for Fedora 18 Beta. Dubbed Spherical Cow, Fedora 18 is powered by a development release of the upcoming Linux kernel 3.6 and brings numerous features, improvements and bug fixes over previous releases.

Robyn Bergeron, the Fedora Project leader, proudly announced a few minutes ago, November 16, the codename for the upcoming Fedora 19 operating system, due for release next year.

In a mailing list post today, Fedora Program Manager Robyn Bergeron announced that Fedora 15 is ready for release on May 24, 2011.

The Fedora Project team has announced the beta release of its Linux operating system, Fedora 18, code-named Spherical Cow.

After numerous delays, Fedora 18 Beta has finally made it to the masses. This is very important for Red Hat Enterprise Linux as Fedora is the upstream version that implements all the future changes in RHEL.

Red Hat has just appointed a new project leader for Fedora. Jared Smith, an active member of the community with experience in similar positions at other companies, will be replacing the current leader Paul Frields. Smith will be overseeing the development of Fedora 14 which Frields has already gotten under way.
