Fedora 18 mounting external / internal drive

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I'm starting to get annoyed about mounting disk drive in Fedora 18 Gnome 3. I can't access any hard drive connected internally (sata) or externally (usb, esata), I don't have a privilege to see content of the drive (sorry for my English). My external hard drive is ext2 filesystem for backup purposes. Automount is creating folder under /run/media/$user/$label - I can't access it even as root. I tried old fashioned mounting with fstab in /mnt with no use - WTH! I even tried to change polkit-1 udisks2 policy to "yes" to all filesystem-system mount. I'm truly lost now. Can someone pl (HowTos)
