Fedora 18 EFI dual boot nightmare

view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I just switched from Fedora 16 to 18 (not an upgrade but a clean install). Previously in Fedora 16, I had no problems doing a Fedora 16 and Windows 7 dual boot in EFI mode. Grub Legacy (EFI version) worked perfectly. Now with Grub2 (EFI) there seems to be no working chainloader command. I can still boot Windows if I go into the BIOS boot menu and select it. I modified /boot/efi/EFI/fedora/grub.cfg to add a chainloader entry for Windows 7. I find this example everywhere via google. It shows up in the grub2 menu. However, when I select it, my computer freezes and does nothing until I do a har (HowTos)
