http://forums.fedoraforum.org – A bit torrent download and two downloads from the Fedora site directly produced disks which when booted brought up the splash screen, allowed moving to the choice screen, but then rebooted without progressing to the Fedora download and configuration. :( The Fedora 16 64 bit download worked perfectly with a clean installation, making me suspect there's a problem with the iso. I'm a dinosaur with F14 and I found that there are no updates for it anymore, so I decided to reinstall the system completely.

Could you please tell me what is new now Fedora 16 or Fedora 17?

Because I thought it is Fedora 16 and when I visited a download page, I see only Fedora 17, so should I download it?

I try to install Fedora as a guest operating system on VirtualBox in Windows7 64-bit.I download Fedora-17-x86_64-Live-Desktop.iso first and when I begin to install everything fine until I see "Congratulations,you succesfully install fedora" page.When I reboot fedora virtualbox stopped.I search on google but could not find anything to solve my problem.

I'm looking for the MS core fonts. I can't find any good Linux downloads. All I can find are Windows installers; you have to download one for each font, then go through a huge process to get everything extracted. I'm running Puppy Linux.

I'm new to Fedora and really enjoy using it so far.

I installed Windows 7 on my Acer Aspire 5536, then I dual booted it with Fedora 18(graphical boot(raindrop) worked perfectly and Fedora's Grub became default bootloader) and then I trple booted Fedora 18 and Windows with Trisquel 6.0 GNU/Linux (Trisquel's GNU Grub became the default bootloader and Fedora's lovely graphical boot scree

I have tried to download Fedora 10 and 11 and run it through Nero. I have had no success with it. And now I can't even get bit torrent to work. Can I purchase a s set of CDs with Fedora 10 any place?

I tried to update Fedora 17 to 18 from within yum using the directions on the fedora web site. When I rebooted I ended up in the CentOS installer screen. I am not sure how that happend but I can't seem to get out of it into even a basic shell.
