Fedora 17 Unexpected Inconsistency

view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I am running a Dell Studio 17 laptop with Fedora 17 (3.5.4-2.fc17.x86_64) and gnome desktop. For the last week I have been seeing a disk file corruption issue that I hope someone can help me troubleshoot. The basic issue is that I after working with the system for a while I start to see disk messages essentially informing me that my drive is (re)mounted read only. I reboot the system and I am presented with the following message: _Fedora_17-x86:UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY. (i.e., without -a or -p options) dracut warning:e2fsck returned with a 4 dracut warning:_Fedo (HowTos)
