What is the proper way of installing Fedora twice on a UEFI disk.
I tried but whas not able to access the old install...

I access UEFI from the computer's BIOS when I install Fedora it gives me as 'Fedora entry' from the bios UEFI boot selector - however if install a 2nd Fedora that takes its place (i can;t access old version)
Hi all,
Just got a new ultrabook laptop (Asus Zenbook Prime UX31a) and I want to install Fedora 17 on it while maintaining Windows 7 (for now).
My first attempts at installing it failed after messing with the disk partitions, resulting in the laptop not booting anymore.
Recently, I purchased a shiny new Asus K55A laptop. Everything on the Windows side seemed to be perfect. But, to my horror, the trusty BIOS had been replaced with this new-fangled UEFI thingy that seemed to make a simple task a complex issue.
Here is an outline of my problem.
Hello people,
I built a new computer capable of UEFI. Just like I always did, I installed windows 7 64-bit first, hoping that Fedora will pick it and make a line in boot menu.
So I installed windows in UEFI mode. Then put Fedora 17 64-bit and also made sure that I start it in UEFI mode via bios boot shortcut.
I am trying to install F17 on a Asus G75 Laptop. I shrank the Window7 partition using the windows disk management utility. Then installed F17 using a installation DVD. To boot the DVD I set the BIOS Boot Option Priority to P2: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51M and installed Fedora without any problem. I removed the install DVD to reboot the computer.

I'm trying to properly install Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 64-bit PC (AMD64) with the alternate install CD ".iso" on a lenovo Thinkpad X220.
Default Hard Disk (with a pre-installed version of Windows 7) has been replaced with a brand new SSD.
The UEFI BIOS of the lenovo Thinkpad X220 is set to "UEFI Boot only" & "USB UEFI BIOS Support" is enabled (I'm using an external USB DVD reader to perform Ubunt
Hi,
I got Fedora 17 installed on my PC, using UEFI boot system. So there is Windows too on this computer. And I want to add Archlinux on this.
I want to know just one thing :
When Fedora is upgrading, it does an operation on some grub file (because I got now 2 entries for Fedora in my grub menu). Which is this operation ? grub2-mkconfig ?
