http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hello, I am new to Linux and I am apparently making life really hard on myself by using this laptop as a springboard into the OS. I've tried several different distros and those that boot with any graphics at all seem to behave the same way on this laptop: The machine boots to X and only 60% of the screen is used, aligned to the upper left hand side. It's pinned at 800 x 600 resolution, and I imagine that setting it to 1024 x 768 would make the black bars on the bottom and side go away. No matter what I try, I can get this to happen and I could use some help. (HowTos)
