http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I have a HP pavilion dm3 notebook, I intalled fc17 in the states, it was working fine here from internet accessing, email(gmail.com), printer setup and printing. But once I took it to beijing, china. things started to break. first I found the internet became very slow, gmail was not working at alll. google search snailed on for hours. does anyone else had the same experince, is there any fix(es)? (HowTos)

I have Ubuntu 12.04. I virtually created a AP and got internet connection to my phone via wifi. Now the browser and Youtube app is working fine. But all the other apps are not working including Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Google Play. They ask for a data connection when i try to open it. Why is this happening? All the apps which connects with my gmail account have the same problem.:-\

As many of you know (if you haven't heard), china is pretty restrictive on their internet world. Not really that strict, just most of the sites I use, like youtube, facebook, are blocked in china. I plan to visit china soon, and I really want to download an app that can bypass china's censored internet (or proxy, etc).

Bad news for internet users in China; reports of an outage of Google services in China are beginning to flood in. Gmail, Maps, Play Music, and anything else Google related is being blocked for Chinese users.

Google’s Transparency Report shows a significant drop in traffic from China that started around 12:30am GMT last night.

F17 Printer help 26 weeks 3 days ago

Hi all, I am running F17, 3.6.9-2.fc17.i686.PAE and having problem to get my network printer to work. I installed the printer under Application>others>printing, it seems detect my printer over network and allow my to finish the process with correct printer path.

i've got two computers both running fc17 and both have xbmc installed from the rpmfusion repo.
