I have just rooted my HTC Desire and flashed a custom ROM. I used to have a favourite contacts widget (I think it was called People Widget) but it doesn't appear on my phone now. Is there any way to get it back?
Also, I am finding a few apps that are not compatible with my phone. They are for Android versions 4.x.x. I have looked at a few of the custom ROMs and thay are all version 2.x.x.
Need help. I rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3, this being my first time, and everything went as it was suppose to. I have the SU icon but it wont update and all rooted apps i try say my phone is not rooted. What do I need to do?
My real question is if I root do I have to buy paid apps to get the most out of my rooted phone? I looked and didn't see if it was required. A list of the best apps for rooted phones would be nice this will be my first time rooting a phone.
I just rooted my kindle fire hd and now wondering exactly how to get the apps I want on there. The reason I rooted it was mainly that I wanted GO Launcher HD and also the Google Play Store. How do I go about getting these to work on tablet now?
I have finally rooted my phone and am using Link2SD to get rid of all the preinstalled apps that i dont want and it works great... but now there are a couple apps with names that make no sense to me and id like to rename them to something that makes more sense... is there anyway to rename apps on your phone? i have it rooted with Gingerbreak 1.20 and have version 2.2.2 of the Android system...
So I've got the fl26 rooted on my phone, Busybox says it's rooted, root checker says it's rooted, with superuser 3.1.3 installed, but superuser always denies everything & changing the the way superusers handles apps doesn't help. Anybody know why this is happening ?
