I'm using a nexus 7, 32gb (wifi) JOP40D, and I'm looking for a kernal that supports usb fast charge. I'm currently using the Trinity seven kernal 4.2 alpha 4, but I'm not entirely sure that it support fast charge. I installed a root app that says it toggles USB fast charge on and off, and says that the current kernal does not support fast charge.
I am BEYOND disappointed with my Samsung Galaxy S2. My husband and I both purchased Galaxy S2's a couple of months ago and almost immediately after getting them I had trouble charging mine. The phone battery drains quickly, sometimes gets really hot, and then, started to not take a charge at all.
Please make a mod for ac fast charge
Please

Hi! I'm on 4.1.2 Slim rom and when I try to put n7 in fast charge mode....it won't stay. I go back into settings and its unchecked again.
I googled issue, but as soon as you use fast charge in search....all I get are tonnes of charging issues unrelated to my issue.
Thanks for any input. ;)

hi there
I've just received my new my glide a few days ago and upgraded to ics lite rom .5 straight away.
i noticed that it charges extremely slow when plugged into the computer, almost doesn't charge at all if using it at the same time. i saw a option in system tuner about supporting usb fast charge. i was wondering if any of the roms or kernal for the glide supports this feature?
I'm running aokp jb build 4 and my battery takes a long time to charge... Does anyone else have this problem.? There's a quick charge setting but I quite don't understand it... Can someone let me know what's up with this quick charge?? thanks..

I know this problem has been in many threads but my situation is a bit different. I finally got it into "safe" mode and I don't know what to do. Mine is fully stock and it just shuts off immediately once I turn it on. Sometimes it takes awhile to even turn on. Any suggestions now that I'm in fast boot or safe mode?

After a full charge, without even touching it, it drains the battery quite fast! Also I've been on a full Charge and not even an hour of screen time and already 65%. And I've only been using Talk and the xda premium app.
Well, I have used a script called "apt-fast" in Ubuntu before without a hitch. It's a apt download-accelerator that uses aria2c or axel to speed up apt downloads. There were some problems, couldn't use the PPA and the installation was a hassle, here's how I got it done (with help from VastOne and brontosaurusrex on the IRC channel :P )1.
