While Trying to install VirtualBox from AUR, and when installing the dependencies, I got this error.

==> Starting build()... /tmp/yaourt-tmp-keripix/aur-libpng12/libpng12/./PKGBUILD: line 26: patch: command not found ==> ERROR: Build Failed. Aborting... Error: Makepkg was unable to build libpng12 package.

It was solved by install base-devel package

Thanks for the help.  After I made the changes you said to do I tried to make the package again but I got a couple of different errors.  These errors were essentially the same problem as before but repeated in other files.  I fixed as many of these as I could by casting gzFile however I stumbled upon one that I can't seem to fix.  Here is the error and the code the error r

Switched from stock to Mwakious3D ROM . HTCUnlocked the bootloaded, flashed cwm recovery, then did not do a clean install but just ran the 15.0 base from SD card and then ran the OTA update~

I'm trying to install nmap and I'm getting errors, I'm running FC12, I didn't have a compiler on here so I used yum to install the gcc, i downloaded the lastest of nmap from their site, i unzipped it. after running the configure file, the make command was giving me errors. I tried the gmake and that worked, but when I go to make the install I get these errors:
