Hi all,I've been fiddling around with Crunchbang for a bit, and it seems pretty good. I'd love to be able to use it, but I can't get my Intel N 1030 wireless card to work.I downloaded iwlwifi-6000g2b-6.ucode off intellinuxwireless.org, because that's the driver that's supposed to make my wireless card work. But I have no idea how to install it. Can anyone help me?
I began using Ubuntu when 7.04 came out. I never really was able to get used to it, but I have tried to come back to it. One thing I would like to be able to do is successfully hack a wireless network. Unfortunately, I have this cursed Intel 4965agn adapter. I tried to follow these patch directions.
Whenever I suspend my computer session, I lose my wireless network connection, and the only way I know to get it back is to restart. I am running Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring ringtail), and kernel 3.8.0-22-generic.
I am having a hard time finding and installing the drivers needed for my wireless card. I have a really crappy usb stick that I am using for the time being but would like to fix this issue so I can use my laptop correctly. I am a hugeee noob at linux, I am taking a class in college right now. I am currently using Fedora 15 which is required for the class.
Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a samsung np900x4c that came with an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2235 Adapter.
I installed Backtrack5 R3 and tried to install the latest firmware available from http://intellinuxwireless.org/?n=downloads.
Problem is i found drivers up to 2230. I installed following all proper steps.
I just installed Debian and I am having issues getting my wireless working.
I installed Squeeze and also the nonfree firmware for iwlwifi.
I thought I did everything right but I am still not getting online.
Hi,Recently I installed Arch Linux on my Thinkpad X220, and everything seems to be fine hardware-wise, except the fact that my WiFi card (Intel Wireless-N 6250) cannot connect at wireless-N speeds.
Ok, so I've been researching this like all day because I can't figure out how to get my wireless working on Slackware (and that's the only way I can get internet on my laptop here).
So, when I run uname -a it tells me I am running kernel 2.6.29.6
