F18 RC4: Evolution doesn't play .wav files inline anymore

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I have a minor issue with wav files and playing them directly in Evolution. Yesterday I did fedup my system and now I can't play .wav files attached to emails in Evolution 3.6.2. Instead I have to download them first. But it's not that convenient then before ... Evolution is saying "missing plugin" when trying to play those files directly?! I tried to find an answer with Dr. Google but no success so far. I found older posts where they did mention a "org-gnome-audio-inline.eplug" but there's not such a plugin in my plugin directory /usr/lib64/evolution/3.6/plugins. :confu (HowTos)

Hi, trying to migrate from clawsmail to evolution.there are to aur pacages for a tray icon, both don't work.an email reader without tray icon doesn't make any sense to mecould some one help out.installed the tray-git package, but evolution crashes on startup:(evolution:26310): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple: assertion `dest_width > 0' failed

I am beginner in Linux. Now I have a problem. I did installt evolution. This is working. Then I did load old evolution backup. This destroyed my evolution.

Question: How can I clean my hd from all evolution files. Remove and remove purge are not working there are still evolution-files on hd.

First question: As Ubuntu seems to be abandoning Evolution, I assume they have a tool to import evolution files/folders into thunderbird. What is it called in the repos? And no, I'm not looking for the 'complicated' ways.

Second question: Can one user use thunderbird as his/her email client and another user evolution?

Hi, I want to switch Gnome-Shell to KDE en in my Fedora installed without reinstall the system.

I have the next problem. I don't know what are the config files of Gnome-Shell. I know the files of Evolution, are these. $HOME/.local/share/evolution $HOME/.config/evolution $HOME/.cache/evolution $HOME/.gconf/apps/evolution

But I don't know what are the others config files of Gnome.

Playing around with Evolution Mail - it has some features that I like. I then downloaded the RSS plugin from the Software Center. Well, it didn't download because it gave me an error.

Simply, how do I install the RSS plugin in 11.10?

I just upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10. I'm noticing that evolution can no longer decode winmail.dat files sent from windows boxes. evolution-plugins-experimental is still installed but that is all I know.

Does anyone know how to fix this.

I'm using OpenSuse 11.3.

I use Evolution to connect to Exchange 2007.

Sometimes it works, but many others, I receive errors like: - "Fetching items failed" when trying to synchronize a folder. - "Could not get message", when I try to preview a message. - Messages are not send. And the only way is to close Evolution an reopen it.

I've installed this packages: samba-4.0.0-3.1.

Evolution and gconf 35 weeks 5 days ago

I recently installed Evolution 3.4.3. I don't like the fact that it automatically marks messages as read after 1.5 seconds. Some searching led me to this question and answer. I set the required key with gconf-tool2 and confirmed that it was set. I restarted Evolution, but it still automatically marked messages as read. I then set the timeout key to 0 and restarted, but it behaved the same.
