F17 not booting: Xeon(Ivy Bridge) libdrm issue

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – There are missing Xeon(Ivy Bridge) definitions in the intel_chipset.h file in libdrm which causes machines with Xeon(Ivy Bridge) CPU's w/embedded iGPU to fail when starting X. Ref: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=840180 I discovered this during a yum upgrade that brought in kernel 3.4.4-5. The machine would not boot up afterwards. Had to go back to previous kernel. There is a short thread on the fedora-devel list. (HowTos)
