I have a new computer and tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit) but the installation failed.

Hello guys, today I got a sad problem: When I run fedora (liveCD), it works properly but then I install it (the installation process seems to be ok) and by the moment I choose fedora in grub, what I got is just a white-blinking screen that never ends.

Hi there. I downloaded Ubuntu Studio 12.04 and burned it to a DVD.
I want to install it on my Futjitsu AH532 Laptop, but nor the Installation starts or the try it on liveCD are working. It hangs at the logo screen, with the circle running (30 minutes later, still on that screen).
The laptop is 3 months old, I don't think it's comming form it's material.
What should I try ?

EVERY TIME. I've checked the image, the LiveCD (using Fedora 17s own media checker) and re-downloaded / rewritten the ISO about a thousand times now. Conclusion: the ISO is fine, the media is fine.
