F17->F18 upgrade: Need custom grub menu entry

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – My desktop PC is dual-boot: Fedora and Ubuntu. Grub2 is "owned" by Ubuntu. In Ubuntu /etc/grub.d I have a 40_custom entry for Fedora. Every time there is a Fedora kernel update, I must edit the 40_custom entry, boot Ubuntu, and run update-grub. I'm planning to use fedup to upgrade from F17 to F18. Normally, when fedup-cli is run a "system upgrade" grub menu entry is generated. I'm assuming this will not happen with my grub setup. Furthermore, without a 40_custom entry, grub's OS-Prober run from Ubuntu will either not see the "system upgrade" kernel at all, or w (HowTos)
