F12 PAE kernel memory problem

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hello, I have the following Problem under F12: Under GNU-R (v2.10) I analyze very large series of measurement (>1GB each) and there was no Problem while running Fedora 11. After the upgrade to Fedora 12 I got an error message in R that it cannot handle the vector of size xx.xMB (the same error I got every time under Windows XP). Under both Fedora versions I used the PAE Kernel and the same RAM and swap configuration - 1GB RAM and 7GB swap. Both computers are old AMD Athlon XP2800+ computers, both on an Abit NF7-S Board. After downgrading F12 (kernel-PAE-2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686) to the PAE kernel rpm of Fedora 11 (kernel-PAE-2.6.30.9-99.fc11.i686) GNU-R is able to handle the memory. A self compiled 2.6.31.6 kernel with the config-file of the F11 PAE kernel did not solve the problem. So what is the difference between the F11 and the F12 kernel??? How can I get the F12 kernel running well? thanks for your support rudi (HowTos)
