My Fedora 12 no mount at boot /dev/shm but only manual by terminal istruction
$ mount /dev/shm
This is my fstab
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

On boot, udev is giving a mount error.
It appears to not have control of the /dev directory.

My work requires running echo value > etc/servoblaster (servoblaster is a device) many times in a second (not recommended because my Raspberry Pi running on SD card), so I think can I mount ramdisks to servoblaster by adding this line to /etc/fstab ?
I was told to simply go into the fstab folder to allow myself permissions to execute files without becoming root, but instead of following it blindly I need a 2nd opinion. I cannot install a specific program because of configuration problems even though I downloaded all the gcc, g++ etc packages. I got permission denied and here I am in my fstab folder. Anything I can do about this?
