Alright, I've been stuck trying to mount my samba share for the last day and half now.:mad: I finally got it, sort of.
My samba share has been working pretty well, or so I thought. I can browse to it with a file manager, and I've been able to do everything using the netbios name instead of the IP address.

When I try to mount a home directory from a Samba File server (FC15), I keep getting a message from Nautilus (on my FC17 machine):
"Unable to mount location: Failed to mount Windows Share"
I can mount other Samba shares with no problems. I do have SELinux disabled. My firewall is allowing Port 139.

After configuring and starting service of samba, when I access shared folder from windows XP it gives this error " Network Route was not found".
My server IP 192.168.1.252, client is on same network.

My OS is F11 and i've two systems; i'm running Samba server on one system and i've login on the client system and trying to login to the Samba server using smbclient but it's not working.
Can someone give me the command to login to the Samba server using smbclient!

M:// --> shared drive for my family
P:// --> my personal drive
I have a few conditions to meet with a new samba setup.I want to migrate a windows based share to a linux samba share. However this time the share is in the regular corporate LAN and I do not have the rights to add this samba server to the corporate windows domain.
