http://forums.fedoraforum.org – hey everyone i just wanted to say that this is an awesome site that has proviede me with alot of help in the past. the last version of fedora that i have tinkered with was F 8. Im taking a class and had to have 12 for the course. I had a seperate 250GB hdd that i wasnt using so guess what i filled it up with. :D well once it was installed i updated the kernel, yum, along with a list of other things. i have looked the last 2 days on here and tried alot of different things and nothing seems to get my wireless going. i can connect through my ethernet on a wired connection but thats the only way. since i have so much extra space i want to run virtual box with either windblows xp or vista. which one would be a better choice? if i get macrosuck on there and install my driver for the wireless card will it work in fedora as well? ill try anything at this point. its got to be better than dragging 40 foot of cat 5 cable around the house. lol thx! System specs are as follows: Dell Inspiron 1545 Intel T4200 Dual Core Processor @2.0 GHz 3 GB Ram 250 GB HDD running Fedora 12 Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card (BROADCOM BCM4312) 802.11 (HowTos)
