http://androidforums.com – I just switched my phone from an iPhone to a Galaxy S3. Which means new app for me.. one thing I quickly noticed is that connecting to the eye-fi card hogs your connectivity. On the iPhone when I connected to the card, the data would fail over to the 3G and I could still use it (albeit slower) however, on the Android when i direct connect, it tries to pipe other app data through the wifi card, which fails of course. Anyone know how to fix this so that if data can't go via wifi it should fail over and use 3G/LTE? (General)

It started yesterday. Since then I've tried several backups on a couple different roms, same result. I can connect to my wifi, or at least the phone says I am connected, but no data transfers. I can switch to 3g and I get data normally. I switched to wifi, let it connect, and I get nothing but connection and server errors.

So I just got my hands on a used HTC vivid. I'm very pleased with how elegant it is and how smoothly it runs. I first connected it onto a wifi network where it performs quite well.

The problem is I can't connect to the data network.

Hi everybody, I've looked around the forums but haven't found a solution.I just installed Chakra 2012.02 on a Acer Timeline 8020TG and cannot connect to my wifi network.I inserted the password correctly and after a while trying to have an IP it starts "Waiting for authorization" and fail to connect.The wifi card is a Atheros AR928X.On the same laptop I've installed Ubuntu

I have an Eye-Fi card for my camera. i can set it up to offload images from my camera to my home PC over a WiFi hotspot.

So I can use it with built-in tethering, but it will relay all those pics over my mobile data plan- not ideal.

BUT I might be somewhere with WiFi Access.

This is my first Android, the Micromax A 87 Ninja 4, and I have problems with it already! Its just a day since I've bought it.

It doesn't connect to my wifi network. I have both my desktop and laptop connected to the same network, so it isn't a network problem.

When I switch on wifi and key in the password (once), it says connecting and then disconnects. I do not know what the problem is!

as pc doesnt seems to have my iphone connected,my phone doesnt start charging,i mean nothing happen/.i m new with all this .please help me out. iwant to make backup in my pc.i dont know except basics of iphone,yet i want to make it worked.

OK here is the situation. I upgraded my contract at the end of December, and changed my iPhone 4 for a Galaxy Note 2. I love it but I have some data issues.... My iPhone was on a unlimited data contract, however my new contract give me 1GB a month. My allowance runs from the 19th to the 19th and just by chance I checked my data usage just over a week ago and I was almost out.

I'm not sure if there are any threads on the same topic as I couldn't find any.

Basically, when I press the lock button and the phone sleeps(not sure what the process is called) I don't have connection to WIFI and/or to the data network, which means I have to turn the screen on so I can receive emails/messages that require data/WIFI.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

I have noticed with certain wifi protection setups my phone will go into a never ending loop of obtaining address, connecting then disconnecting and starting over again with authenticating, obtaining address, connecting ect. Is this a common bug? My sister recently changed her wifi security type but left the password the same and now it does this.
