Tried searching the forums, but came up empty. Is there a way to add an external WiFi antenna to the Nexus S? Is just as simple as getting an antenna with the proper connector and plugging it into the port on the back of the phone (under the inner cover by the battery)?

Looking back upon the pop-up of android TV stick this year, its kind of surprise and upset. From the coming out of android mini pc mk802 in early 2012,many people see a good idea to make pc that small, but like all new things would go, this thumb-size pc encounters a lot of problems, like weak wifi signal, heat generation.
Is there a way to boost the wifi reception strength? My Android phone and laptop both pick up wifi signal great in the corners of my home, but the Nexus 7 drops the signal or just has a weak one dot in those same places. Seems like I have to be within 10-15 feet of the router to get a really strong signal.
Hi,
My Nexus S got water damaged. I dried it out and the digitiser wasn't responding. So I replaced the screen and that's all working now. but...
The next problem is that I get no signal whatsoever, It does recognose the sim card but the signal triangle in the notification bar is always empty and it does not connect to the network.
One of the biggest gripes that people had with the recently launched Nexus 4 was its lack of 4G LTE capability. However, as some tech geeks discovered a few weeks ago, the Nexus 4 does indeed have a 4G antenna since it is based on LG’s Optimus G (which has 4G capabilities).
I'm away on a family visit. The built in wifi antenna on my laptop apparently doesn't pull in the wifi signal i need to access. It sees other wifi signals, but it seems I need more strength to pull in weaker signals. (It's all legit and permission is there to use the intended wifi signal target.) I installed a Rosewell RNX-G1 wifi dongle that I had kicking ar
I was briefly shown the networking setup for a rural hospital campus. Some of the things I was told or shown are:
There is an 802.11b signal, broadcast over an omnidirectional antenna on a tower. This network is password-protected.

First post, complete noob here, beware... annoying questions ahead: I have owned this phone for almost 2 years. It wouldn't charge or turn on so I tried the reboot power and volume buttons, then I opened it and ruined the antenna, then after plugging it in to my computer 5 times it started and has been fine since.
