Tried searching the forums, but came up empty. Is there a way to add an external WiFi antenna to the Nexus S? Is just as simple as getting an antenna with the proper connector and plugging it into the port on the back of the phone (under the inner cover by the battery)?
ok on the photon there is what appears to be an external antenna connector would anyone know what type of connector this is as i need to beable connect an external antenna to my photon.

First post, complete noob here, beware... annoying questions ahead: I have owned this phone for almost 2 years. It wouldn't charge or turn on so I tried the reboot power and volume buttons, then I opened it and ruined the antenna, then after plugging it in to my computer 5 times it started and has been fine since.
Just thought I'd leave this here and maybe get some Nexii love
I use my Nexus 7 to fly my WiFi Drone with onscreen HD video live feed...
The drawback has been the range... with the drones weak signal and the Nexus 7 tiny antenna I was limited to 100/150ft at best
So I came up with this... Ladies and gentlemen...
Hi, I am new to Ubuntu, and heres what I have. I have a IBM thinkpad that I replaced the hard drive in. I installed ubuntu, thats all thats on there, (no windows).
My machine does not have an internal wireless card, so I have a USB external antenna type wireless conection.
I tried to load the driver,on cd,it didnt seem to load.
We all remember Antennagate: the loss of signal on the iPhone 4 caused by poor positioning of exterior antennae. It now it seems Motorola and Verizon’s latest flagship RAZRs are being held back because of a similar issue. According to a Howardforum post, “The signal drop is great enough to create a large amount of users to return the device“.
Hi everyone
I have a HTC Desire HD, and I've been happy with it until a week ago.
I just saw this phone in the flesh for the first time. I played with it in the store (in Yurakucho, Japan).
Very nice indeed! I can't wait to get it now. The release date hasn't been announced in Japan, although it will be sometime this month (November).
I was surprised that it comes with an antenna, for watching TV (and hopefully radio). The antenna comes out of the top right corner.
