i have a question.
how can i extend an LVM partition on Linux REDHAT 6.2?
i preferred to use GUI, but if anyone suggest any CLI solution, i can use that too.
I recently created a swap file on my centos 6 based VPS using this guide. Now I wanted to extend this swap and I was reading through this guide. However, I think I've created a swap file than a partition. How do I go about extending this swapfile? The current size is 512M and I need to extend it by another 1G. Any help would be appreciated since I'm a linux newbie.
I want to make a backup image of my ext3 root partition. I am confident that Clonezilla would do the job but there are so many configuration options that I find it a pain to use. Partimage would be my preferred software and I use it regularly for fat32 and ntfs partitions but it seems not to understand ext3 and ext4 file systems.
