Exploits over Internet, rather than LAN - Dynamic DNS and public IP? Tutorials?

http://www.backtrack-linux.org – Hi! I'm trying to do exploits over Internet rather than my local network. I only have a internal IP (e.g. 10.0.0.1), no public IP. As I understand I would need to portforward from the router, by specifying that my chosen port goes to my internal IP address. However, I don't think I can access port forwarding on the router. I assume most ISPs don't allow users to play around with this. I've been seeing some tips using dynamic DNS (like no-ip.org or dyn.com) but it seems that I would still need to do port forwarding. As I understand I would either need 1) a public IP to my own (HowTos)
