Excluding items with journalctl?

https://bbs.archlinux.org – Since I started looking at the nice filtering journalctl has for its output, this has been bothering me, but I haven't been able to find an answer in the man pages (or anywhere else). Is there a way, when calling journalctl, to filter by excluding certain items rather than specifying what to include and having journalctl exclude everything else? For example, to filter out messages from sudo in journalctl's output without touching anything else? And yes, I know it's possible to use --no-pager and pipe the output through grep -v or something similar, I'm just curious as to wh (HowTos)
