I have a Windows Server 2008R2 Active Directory and Exchange 2010 server (client access, hub transport and mailbox roles) in a primarily Linux server environment. A Linux server running BIND9 is master for all zones, including AD specific ones, with updates allowed from the Windows server (and from a separate Linux DHCP server).
I currently have a very simple single server exchange 2003 setup.
I'm planning to add a single exchange 2010 server with all roles, and slowly move people over to it.
Technet and several blogs have plenty of guides to setting this up, but none of them seem to mention at which points in the setup there is downtime.
We just recently migrated to an Exchange 2010 server. Currently all of the roles and mailboxes are installed on 1 server (we are a small company with less than 100 users). I am wanting to use DAG for replication however it seems most set ups for DAG requires at least 3 or 4 total servers.
Having a bit of a problem with my greenfield installation of Exchange Server 2013.
Environment: Windows Server 2012, 4 Exchange Servers (collocated CAS/MBX roles), Outlook 2010.
HLB is arriving next week, until then I have configured DNS RR for both autodiscover.company.com and mail.company.com.
If starting outlook on a domain joined pc, autodiscover and outlook anywhere is working perfect.

I've got a new server that I want to use to replace an existing (older generation hardware) server, both of which are hosting Windows 2008 DC + Exchange 2007.
Both machines are currently running side by side, with all the mailboxes moved to the new server, and the MX records moved to the new as well.
What roles and features do I need to setup Exchange Server 2010 (Trial) on a Windows Server 2012 Azure instance? I've bought a domain name from Go-Daddy and I'd like it all up so I can have name@mydomain.com email addresses.
I'm trying to understand the minimum required number and roles of VM required to host Exchange 2010 on an IaaS cloud platform.
NOTE: I'm talking about number of guests. Not number of physical boxes I'm hosting guests on. This is CLOUD. I want to draw a diagram and label guests and their roles.
What are the minimum roles involved and how can they be consolidated per host?
Someone did a dcpromo and removed Active Directory on a box that's running Exchange 2010 before removing Exchange (why it was also a DC, I have no idea).
My only goal is to salvage the OS install; the server is now a "loaner" Windows Workgroup server (2008 R2 Standard) and has some other apps on it I'd rather not have to reinstall.
I've tried disabling all the Exchange services, but the uninstal
After having my s4 for a couple of hours, It is starting to reboot itself about every 2 minutes. It's very frustrating as my first s4 had an issue with a red flashing on the screen so I already had to exchange it once. I've tried factory resetting the phone, even doing so through the recovery boot. But nothing has worked, anyone have any suggestions to what else I should try?
