http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, I am running OpenSuse 11.2, 64 bit, Gnome. I had Evolution mail client from repositories but I had problem with it so I installed newer version 2.28.20091119-1.1 (2.28.2 in About box) from special repository (Index of /repositories/GNOME:/Evolution:/snapshots/openSUSE_11.2). I just want to check if this is the correct one (the newest) and I want to ask where should I report the bug (I found that the same one was fixed in Ubuntu and i don't know if versions used are different). I also want to ask if you have the same problem. I filled few contacts in my contact list and when I write new message and I click "To:" button, I see all contacts twice there. Thanks for helping and sorry for newbie question ;-) (Distributions)

Hi all,

I have openSUSE 11.1 and Thunderbird version 2.0.

However I want to install Thunderbird 3 and I want to do so with YAST.

So I : YAST --->Software repositories

which gives me a screen with on the right hand side :

opensuse-11.1-non-oss opensuse-11.1-oss opensuse-11.1-Update opensuse-11.1-0

i added following repository in my opensuse 11.1

Index of /repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.1 and upgraded firefox to 3.5 version.but this version is not supporting in opensuse 11.1. problem is when i click on the firefox applicatopn icon. it jumps but does not start.

I am trying sync a google calendar to korganizer using the new libgcal and akonadi googledata packages.

First of all I should state that I am using the KDE packages from the following repository (KDE 4.3.3):

I am using Evolution for my email client and after upgrading Ubuntu several upgrades ago, my contacts began appearing/disappearing. Most of the time I need to check or uncheck Personal from my contacts list in order to see my contacts. However, some times I can just type in the email address and the name fills in, but that does not always work.

So far, I've been putting up with it.

there are 2 related to 11.3: openSUSE_11.3/ and openSUSE_11.3_KDE_Distro_Factory/ Index of /repositories/KDE:/Extra

Evolution Importing Contacts 3 years 27 weeks ago

I use to use Ubuntu, while using Evolution I did a backup of the calendar and contacts I had. The calendar imported just fine, however, the contact information threw an "Other Error", listing permissions as a possible problem. I changed the permissions to 777, however that didn't fix it. I'm assuming there is something in the difference between Ubuntu and Opensuse versions.
