I dont' know what I've done, but this behavior is new: When I leave my house and my Nexus uses the cell network (I have the ATT version), when I return it doesn't automatically reconnect with my wireless. I have to tell it to, and then enter my password.
This wasn't the behavior in the first month I've had the system.
So I'm not too techy savvy and this may be why I can't figure out my problem. I was trying to change the wifi password on my router, and for some dumb reason I thought I could do that through my phone.
Since a few weeks now my nexus 4 just "forgets" the passwords of wifi networks I just connected with. This happens when I turn off/on my wifi in the settings or after a reboot. I'm on stock 4.2.2, rooted and i have ~250 wifi networks saved. I already checked the wpa_supplicant.conf file and all 250 networks are correctly inside.
I just got my nexus 5 yesterday. I went over to a friends house and it connected to wifi perfectly fine. But when I got home it wouldnt connect. I input my password and it has no problem with the password. Afterwards it says authenticating and then says authentication failed. And then it says saved. I turned it on and off. Nothing. Airplane mode on and off nothing. Reset my wifi router nothing.
I put the wrong password in several times to a wifi spot, I now have the correct password. But there is no longer an option to enter it in when hitting connect. After hitting connect, it tried to connect, says there is an error and asks me if I want to ignore it. I am assuming because it's trying with the old password. I am on Win 8.1.
I went to network in the CP, and set up a wifi manually.
I just got the 2013 nexus 7 and im Going thru the setup. Once I get to wifi setup I selected my wifi enter the password and it takes me to a loading screen and says webpage cannot be loaded has anyone have this issue during setup.
I tried to access the wifi on my job for the first time today. When I did, I got a warning screen that said google achrome does not trust this source and that I should not proceed. Is this normal? My Nexus 7 has not done this on ather wifi spots. My Samsung Statosphere has no issue with the wifi. Should I go ahead and connect to the work wifi with my Nexus?
