I dont' know what I've done, but this behavior is new: When I leave my house and my Nexus uses the cell network (I have the ATT version), when I return it doesn't automatically reconnect with my wireless. I have to tell it to, and then enter my password.
This wasn't the behavior in the first month I've had the system.
I tried to access the wifi on my job for the first time today. When I did, I got a warning screen that said google achrome does not trust this source and that I should not proceed. Is this normal? My Nexus 7 has not done this on ather wifi spots. My Samsung Statosphere has no issue with the wifi. Should I go ahead and connect to the work wifi with my Nexus?
Hi there,
my phone is Samsung Galxy sII and recently I've a problem: my wifi automatically connects with a wifi signal that I haven't password. So doesn't work!!
i dont have access to the router. so i found a work around. from the market download and run fxr wifi fixer. it will ask you to reboot. dont do it. next go to your wifi screen and go to menu advance and click static ip. the enable your wifi. let it scan a few times. then disable wifi and uncheck static ip. the re enable wifi. and connect to the desired network.
I've had the Nexus 4 for a week now and I've faced quite a few problems already:
1) My phone doesn't connect to the wifi network (even though the wifi info is saved) until I turn off wifi from the setting and turn it back on. I called up google support and they said that's how the manufacturer designed the phone so you will have to do this every time you move in to a new wifi zone.
Guys, need some help. I am on AOPK JB ROM and Wifi Tether is supposed to work, et I am having troubles getting it to work on mine. I have used both the built in hot spot as well as Wifi Tether for Root. On the built in hot spot, it will work till the point of showing up on my tablet or other phones.

or to share my nexus internet through USB to other computers.
thus I am now looking for apps that can help me achieve this
and would greatly appreciate anyone who has any recommendation for me..

Running Android 4.0.4 and having issues with WiFi
My workplace has become overloaded with WiFi networks and the network I connect to doesn't require a 'key', I have to connect and access a web page where I enter a password which is remembered.
I have a Dell netbook Inspiron 910 (purchased 3/2009) which came with and runs Ubuntu (v. 8.04). Although I know nothing about Ubuntu it has worked fine for me until recently when I've encountered a wifi connection problem. The system seems to automatically generate a 16 character password for any wifi site I try to log into.
