I am a new user to Ubuntu and seeking for help on installing a mod for Nautilus. I am running 12.04 on 32 bit machine. I do not know hot to compile all these files or what I am doing wrong. I downloaded the top file and got the following message when opening the file :
just downloaded + installed Everpad to sync my Evernote files on Xubuntu 12.04. I don't seem to be able to use it:
- it appears in the main menu;
- when I launch it, an icon appears on the desktop/top bar next to the date&time;
- if I click on this icon, i get two options: "settings and management" (done, necessary to link Everpad to Evernote) and "exit".
Was researching the evernote as a replacement to Microsofts OneNote. Although evernote doesn't have a linux client (and they would be smart to get this going) there is a opensource that has been developed using the evernote api's. Its call nevernote (also nixnote) and there is rpms for it but I was wondering if anyone is running it from these released rpms?
I am trying to install a package using a deb file and get the error message as written in the subject. I do however have libssl1.0.0 installed, which as far as I can tell, is a newer version.
How do I tell the installer to use the 1.0.0 version which is installed?
Tried to upgrade to 2.60 and found the amd64 deb files.But I was met by the dependancies hell - I thought deb files would not cause that.My understanding have been deb is only click and auto install.How do I solve?Here is what I miss:Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6 (>= 2.14)
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6 (>= 2.15)
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libappindicato
