I'm trying to connect to Windows 2003 server's share using ipv6 address from Windows Server 2008.
I use ipv6-literal.net conversion as described on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa385353.aspx (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/archive/2010/09/15/10061950.aspx)
I see the error "A duplicate name exists on the network".
Why does it occur?

for example if IP - 192.1926.23.52 exists twice in file - config_IP.txt
then need to print "duplicate IP - xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
solution can be with ksh or perl one liner , sed ,awk etc

Okay, so I've recently set up a server with Ubuntu Server 12.10 to run as a headless server. When I ran the OS installer/setup it gave me an option to immediately connect to a wireless network (this box has a wireless card), and so I connected to my home network.
hello i recently re-purposed an old desktop into a home server using ubuntu server 11.10.
i am able to connect to it through my windows vista pc which is connected to the network the server is connected to. now what i am trying to do is setup so that my friends and family (who are not connected to my network) can access my server and be able to watch/download my movie collection on said server.
