I have updated a W2K3 settings according to the steps shown here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816042#LetMeFixItMyselfAlways2
The peers list I use is:
0.asia.pool.ntp.org,0x1 1.asia.pool.ntp.org,0x1 2.asia.pool.ntp.org,0x1 3.asia.pool.ntp.org,0x1
I did a
net stop w32time && net start w32time
to restart the service.
How do I check the settings?
How do I know it's working?
When
Currently i have a AD/Kerberos Configured on one EC2 instance(Windows 2008 R2) and created couple of users. Each of the users has administrator privileges. When We login as a non-domain Administrator, i can successfully execute the winrm commands.
I am running nginx on Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) as a windows service. I am using Windows Service Wrapper for that. (Actually, I have followed this tutorial: http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/HgServeNginxWindows.)
The service is running ok. However, the server does not process the signals (e.g. stop / reload).
This means if I stop the service, nginx is not stopped.
I have a server with "Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Standard" operating system.
My problem is that I cannot access the server with Administrator account with two users at the same time... Just one can operate. Can you help me?
hi,
I accidentally deleted my administrator account...i can't login through admin account...
I went to administrator tools > Computer management...but there i cannot see Local users and groups > Users.
Please help me to get out of this.
I can not install any software. please help
Thanks
I need to get a little help in tuning my active directory. I would like to be able to give the right of 'local administrator' to a group of users already defined in AD.
This in order not to have to log on each machine and assign local administrator rights one by one to each user needed.
thank you
We have one domain and two domain controllers (on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise).
For about a week, we have enormous problems: some users can't log in to Windows (domain could not be contacted). Sometimes restart of Windows helps, but mostly it doesn't.
As administrator, I can't log in to DC0, on DC1 I can.
I've setup a FTP server in IIS 7.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and enabled Basic Authentication. I have a basic user ("Ropstah") on the server which is in the Users and Some Custom groups. I've allowed the Some Custom group read/write access on the FTP folder.
Now when I connect to the server using "Ropstah" I get the following error:
530 User cannot login
Why is this?
I am trying to get my Windows 7 Professional Machine to sync time correctly. This laptop is not a member of any domain.
If I try to go to the clock settings, Internet Time tab, and click on "Update Now", it tells me that an error occurred. Misc.
