I've got a problem with Banshee on Lubuntu 12.10. Basically, it crashes and closes down whenever I try to play a track.
Hi, I searched around and the other posts similar to this didn't apply. When I click a song is just flashes and also a song 2 lines below also flashes but no joy, I did a file compare of packages with an install where it works fine and that didn't produce any fix, here is the output from starting it on the command line.
On a recent Ubuntu 12.10 install, something innocent like apt-get install xfonts-75dpi is giving this message:
dpkg: error processing gnome-settings-daemon (--configure):
package gnome-settings-daemon is not ready for configuration
cannot configure (current status `half-installed')
Errors were encountered while processing:
gnome-settings-daemon
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error co
Not sure if this is the right place for posting this, but I've been trying to install Gnome Do.
Hello,I am little perplexed with alternatives (autofs, udiskie, etc.) to mount external drives and windows partition. According to Awesome Wiki, I decided to give udisks and udisk-glue-git a try as wiki says it's a better solution. I added the configuration from wiki to my rc.lua.
When I try to start Gnome-Tweak I get this error:

Hi jeslnmx, I'm not sure If I'm running a daemon. I just installed dropbox-experimental and nautilus-dropbox and dropbox added itself to the autostart in gnome-session-properties with this entry:/opt/dropbox/dropboxdThe wiki mentions methods to create a daemon. Is that necessary?Regards
