Hello,
I was having an issue with the pulseaudio-equalizer an rhythmbox, sound gets really crackly but so far only with rhythmbox, youtube sounds just fine. I tried installing the rhythmbox equalizer thinking I can just use this for now as a work around, I don't mind the extra few clicks to disable one equalizer for a short time then enable it later.
Hello, community.
I just installed 13.04. I'm having trouble getting pulseaudio-equalizer, because the PPA that holds that package (webupd8) hasn't updated it for Raring.
I tried using PulseAudio's built-in equalizer, the equalizer sink module, but it gives me an error: Failure: Module initialization failed.
I'm looking for equalizer software to fine tune my music played through an external amplifier. I found this software: -PulseAudio Equalizer- but don't know if it works with U-12.10 and it is not supported anymore.
Does anyone know if it will work with 12.10 or is there a better solution?
Thanks for any and all information.:KS
Hey.
I need a system wide equalizer because my headphones are basslacky and so is my sound card.
Alsa recognizes my Asus Xonar Essence ST properly, and I can hear sound, no problems there.
I have a problem with the Pulseaudio multiband equalizer: the volume sets at maximum volume when I change the presets (e.g. to the Live equalizer settings). If I am playing something (Rhythmbox, ...), it suddenly starts blasting from the speakers at maximum volume.
This is a relatively new problem - perhaps due to a kernel update??
Previous I have never used rhythmbox by default because it seemed to be lacking in features to me. Just my personal opinion.
With rhythmbox back in 12.04 will ubuntu give it some attention to give it some usability one thing that was majorly missing on my last use of rhythmbox was an equalizer which is the most basic of requirements for an audio player let alone a preamp.
Is there a graphical sound equalizer for Ubuntu 12.04?
If not, is there a tentative schedule/website where I can know of any developments?
Thanks.
Project page: http://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/alsaequal-mgr/alsaequal-mgr is a relatively simple command-line tool to help manage different system equalizer states with alsaequal.
Right now I'm running CyanogenMod with the New Ported HTC Beats Application and the CyanogenMod DSP equalizer. I have uploaded the APK for the equalizer and the music player and the flashable zip for the Beats Application. I'll upload my setting in a few!
