I was having an issue with the pulseaudio-equalizer an rhythmbox, sound gets really crackly but so far only with rhythmbox, youtube sounds just fine. I tried installing the rhythmbox equalizer thinking I can just use this for now as a work around, I don't mind the extra few clicks to disable one equalizer for a short time then enable it later.
I'm looking for equalizer software to fine tune my music played through an external amplifier. I found this software: -PulseAudio Equalizer- but don't know if it works with U-12.10 and it is not supported anymore.
Does anyone know if it will work with 12.10 or is there a better solution?
I am trying to install a system-wide audio equalizer so my YouTube, Netflix, Etc.. sounds decent on my speakers and I am not forced to use HDMI thru my TV. I found PulseAudio Equalizer however after adding the PPA and running sudo apt-get update and trying to install pulseaudio-equalizer It says unable to locate package.
I downloaded the 10-band equalizer plugin for for Rhythmbox, just cuz I want and equalizer, but Rhythmbox has my favourite interface, and it shows up just find, but when I try to use it,
it just says "The plugin 'Equalizer' could not be loaded.
