I'm trying to install MATE through this tutorial:

But when I try installing mint gnome shell extension throught the Software Center, I get an error saying it depends on gnome-core, but it won't be installed.
So I install gnome-core through Synaptic, then try again in Software Center, but it shows the same error.

how do I open an e-mail link with epiphany? Firefox opens my Gmail directly, to do the same thing with epiphany?
I like the browser Epiphany (now Web or something).
I also hate Flash and I heard about Gnash, its free alternative.
All I want to do is to set up Epiphany somehow to use Gnash on YouTube. I can't get that to work.
I have installed browser-plugin-gnash, but it doesn't do anything. I have plug-ins enabled in Epiphany.
Seven years ago today, the Epiphany webbrowser was first released. In the mean time, the project has had three maintainers and in the past year it has been rejuvenized by switching from the Gecko to the WebKit backend.
