Hi there,
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a new machine. By mistake, I select Spanish as language during the install, so my whole system is in Spanish now.
I have my location set to Australia and my Language set to English but everything in the terminal is in Chinese.i thought I found the problem in rc.conf because my language was set to zh and location CH, but after editing it in root to read LOCALE="en_US.UTF-8" and restarted my terminal is still in Chinese, even though the rc.conf file changes remained. Fixed it.
I am working on Multi language support application.
I'm trying to install F18 (from USB live system - install to hard disk).
When it comes to selecting language, I select English (US) as English (UK) doesn't appear to be available. Since this is only for the installation process, this doesn't worry me.
But when it comes to Keyboard layout, I have a serious problem.
Ubuntu 12.10 64bits. Yesterday periodical update, goes from Firefox 17.0 to 18.0.
I am using firefox 17 in Catalan language and I get "you must reinicialize the browser" message.
After Firefox reinitilization I lost locale language setting.
In firefox About:config I have in "general.useragent.locale" en-US.

On installation, I chose croatian language and locales, and everything seemed to go good there. But once installed, all apps are in english, and my the calendar shows Sunday as first in the week (while it should be Monday).
