Hello everyone another new Linux user here. Most things are going well except for the 360 controller. There are so many posts about this it gets a little confusing on which to follow.Anyways someone told me that ubuntu 12.04 comes with a 360 wireless receiver and its just plug and play. When i plug my receiver in and run jstest-gtk 4 generic xbox pad come up in the joystick preferences window.now the
I have my PS3 controller connected through USB and while that works fine, no applications seem to support its keymap. So my question is whether it's possible to make it emulate an xbox controller similar to what MotionInJoy does on Windows?
I have done some googling but to no avail.
Anyone with emulator experience?
I am on XBMCUbuntu and the wireless xbox controller seems to work fine out of the box but I have to press the back button on the controller to activate which is fine.
What I would like to do is to enable the guide button on the xbox controller to exit the emulator so I do not need the keyboard.
I have an Xbox 360 controller with the wireless-USB pickup and I'm using the xboxdrv driver. The result is a joypad that all my native games (that know about joysticks, eg Super Meat Boy, Shank, Jamestown, X², Steel Storm, etc) can use. It's awesome and would thoroughly recommend it.
My problem is I have a few non-native games I play through Wine.
I'm at work and bored. I'm looking for something good to play. I currently have TDKR and COD:Zombies, but neither of those support external controllers so I don't want to play them.
GTA3 runs awesome and looks great with all the settings turned up and supports external controllers, the problems is it crashes about every 10 min at most.
I know you've seen the 360 controllers work on the Transformer, but mine doesn't seem to be working. I have the wireless receiver,, but I don't have the receiver connected to a mini usb to usb. Its plugged directly in my dock. The controller is synced but no response. Do I have to revert back to a Honeycomb rom for this to work?
Hi, got my OTG cable today and tried plugging in my wired xbox controller. The lights flash on it but its not recognising any button presses. Anyone know if it works?
if not would a cheap USB controller work?
When I game in Windows, I use MotionInJoy to emulate a 360 controller using my PS3 controller via bluetooth. All is well, at least, when the game has native controller support.
If I'm playing a game through Wine that has native 360 support, it generally doesn't recognize any part of the PS3 controller.
Hi everyone. I'm looking for controller for Optimus 4X HD to play games like Shadowgun, Sonic 4 or GTA III (I never played this game) on my HD TV. To be honest, I'm fan of Xbox 360 controller, so maybe you know similar design controllers, which would work on mine 4X HD?
