Enable swipe to clear notifications?

http://androidforums.com – I have an LG Optimus Elite running 2.3.7 an LG Optimus V running BACKside (2.3.7) and an Asus Transformer running Revolver ROM (4.0.3) the last two I can swipe notifications from my notifications. The Elite can not. I know on the BACKside ROM it was something added in and it is native in ICS (and HC I think). There currently are no ROMs for the Elite and I hate having to clear each notification or all at once. Are there any apps or settings I can do to enable this? My Elite is rooted. MODS: I realize this would be better suited for the Elite forum, but I was hoping to get a wider audie (General)

Holster Case for Optimus Elite 22 weeks 5 days ago

Like many, I upgraded my optimus V to an optimus elite. I also added an otterbox-like shell around my elite for extra protection. However, now it's a little too big for the holster I used to use. Anyone have any recommendations on a new holster that would fit an Elite using a plastic shell?

so i installed giantpunes (i think thats his name lol) kernel and ever since my wifi had an error so i reinstalled cwm and i flashed the stock kernel but neither fixed it, also i flashed a stock kernel for the VM elite but i have the sprint elite (wich i dint realize when i flashed it) so im hoping theres something i can do to fix that.

It just dawned on me that I've been here for a little while and I don't think I've ever made an introduction thread.

My name is Ken, 33 year old android and Linux fan. Been running Linux almost 10 years, android for about 3.

I rooted my VM LG Optimus Elite with click root, then reboot it, and that came out, now when i take replace battery it appears, I tried going to the recovery menu by holding volume down+power, no luck. :(

I was planning to get the Optimus Elite (and then rom it and overclock it) and wanted to see how it performs as compared to an overclocked Optimus S or V.

Are transitions from portrait to landscape mode much quicker? Do apps open a good deal faster? Is there any discernible lag or stuttering in comparison to the S or V?

April 22 looks to be a busy day for Sprint as the LG Viper and Galaxy Nexus should be released, but they are adding another device, the LG Optimus Elite. This one is similar to the Viper in that it’s eco-friendly, but it’s more of a budget phone. Since April 22 is Earth Day, it makes sense releasing it then.

Hello Forum! So i am currently using a Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite. After 2 days of refuge here on the forums i amazingly found a small little program that was intended to root p500 devices and worked for mine. I did run root checker and all plus i have root access so it is rooted.

Can you give me detailed instructions on how to root my LG Optimus Elite including Attachment links to files needing to be download? Also can I do it without a SD card or will I be out of luck? I tried using superoneclick and the program kept freezing up :/
