https://bbs.archlinux.org – Hi there,After last upgrade to gnome 3.6 empathy fails to connect to google talk using GOA credentials.Of course I can configure a talk account directly in empathy but... I would prefer to use a single sign on (with gnome online accounts).Does any one has this same problem?... Hi there Do you have gnome-control-center installed? Try adding a new online account (or deleting the one that's already created, it can creates conficting configurations). If it doesn't work, try to only configure accounts from Empathy. That's what I did to make it workBest of Luck

I eventually solved it, my locales were not set up properly. After fixing that, Empathy just normally recognized online accounts and connected.

I installed Empathy and set up a couple of my IM accounts. It worked great. However, even when I shut down Empathy, it appears that the GNOME 3 desktop is somehow starting it up again in the background and logging into my IM accounts. I get notifications related to IM, etc. Is there any way short of uninstalling Empathy to actually turn it off and make GNOME 3 not connect to my IM accounts?

Hello, a new user for Fedora here. I love online-accounts feature but Empathy refuses to connect to Google Talk service. It says password is incorrect. Meanwhile I am able to use Google talk on my phone, Pidgin@Fedora and Opensuse liveCD. It is really weird- do you know any hint for that?

I have the same problem with Epson Stylus TX133... It seems there is a problem with ghostscript https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=124366. I tried downgrading but it didn't work for me.

Hello everybody.I'm used to have my skype contacts in empathy thanks to telepathy-haze and skype4empathy.But since the gnome 3.8 (and so empathy) update, that doesn't work anymore.

Problem

cant connect to facebook and google accounts in empathy and Online Accounts under empathy when trying to log in it just returns "disconnected--no reason specified" everything was working pretty fine about a week ago with f17

under online accounts selecting any service returns unable to load page, problem occured while loading url ...
