EMC Posts First $6 Billion Quarter, Appoints New CIO

Storage, cloud and Big Data technologies were the reasons for the jump, according to the company. Still, it wasn’t enough for EMC to be optimistic about the coming year, offering guidance below analysts’ estimates for 2013 revenue.
