I have a cPanel account whose emails I migrated from another server. The account can receive emails in SquirrelMail but cannot receive emails in Mail.app on OSX. I can test the account with Outlook's test button successfully, though I've not tried to download any emails. The chances are, a brand new account would work correctly.
have some problems in doing my project, my project title is ' in investigate into implementation of certification authority with small network ' ( with using Postfix, openSSL ) and i have builded up two different networks using debian and after that i need to make a mail server, so i configured Postfix and made a mail server, i can send and receive emails on both networks.
Like so many, Yahoo has listed my IP as TS03.
One of the primary reasons is my Cpanel constantly trying to resend 5xx emails.
How do I turn off 5xx email retries in a cPanel environment.
Thanks.
My server is sending the spam email and I am not able to find out which script is sending them.
The emails were all from nobody@myhost so disabled from the cpanel that nobody should not be allowed to send emails
Now at least they are not going out, I keep receiving them. This is mail I get:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients.
transferring only emails accounts from cpanel server to non-control panel server
I need to transfer emails accounts from cpanel server to the normal linux server , it is possible
what is the requirement for it
We have been on webservers using cpanel for over 6 years.
Currently we are on a shared server which has recently been upgraded to cpanel 11.32.3 (build 21).
With 11.32.3 (build21) we have new email problems that we have never seen before.
The big issue is reported as
"Domain *******.com has exceeded the max defers and failures per hour (5/5 (50%)) allowed.
We've had a hard disk failure, and have a backup of emails. The MTA on the server was Exim. We need to setup the mails on another server to give the admin access to these emails on desktop client such as Thunderbird or Outlook. As far as I know, there's no way to directly import Exim mail files into these clients. So I think we'll need to setup Exim on the new server as well.
hi
when i run
yum list installed | grep 386
i get 150 packages, but my system is x64, why cpanel installed those packages??
every time i run any install or upgrade from cpanel, i see it downloads both 64 and 386, why?
is it safe to remove them?
cPanel tickets ID# 3260253
Php scripts which uses the PHP Sendmail() function are not adding dkim and domainkeys(obsolete?) headers to outgoing email. This feature is important to reach client inboxes.
Cpanel support told me in the above ticket that I need to force the php script to use Pear:Mail function.
