http://forums.androidcentral.com – I was never a fan of the flip case until I got an S3 and wanted the extra protection for the screen. I ended getting the Elago flip and loved the build quality on it. It still kept a very slim profile, yet felt very safe in the durable case. I waited for them to put one out for the GN2 and it finally hit their site and I ordered one and just got it. So I got this over a week ago and I think I have had enough experience with it to review it. First off this case will not be for everyone. First off, the $50 price point will turn most away. But if you're on the hunt for a great quality leather flip case that's stylish and feels fantastic in the hand, this is the case for you!

Okay first off it does not add so much bulk. It feels smooth.

Alright well I love the Samsung flip cover case but it has one major flaw. Almost no protection from shock/fall/sabotage. So I decided to do this.

Basically I took the TPU case and cut around where the flip cover flips. This allowed me to use both at the same time and still have full use of the volume rockers. May not look the prettiest on the left edge but it has way more protection.

I'm a new owner of Nexus 4 and long-time owner of BlackBerry (as my name may indicates, though I'm far from avid...lol). Anyway, as said in the thread's title, I'd like to know is there any case (preferably flip leather case) that behave like Apple's Smart Cover which automatically lock/wake the screen? I recall ones used in GS III and Note II also behave the same way.

I did a previous review of a Noreve vertical flip case, this is a much better option. It's a real leather horizontal flip case with a built in kick stand. It also has three card pockets and a cash pocket as well.

I am trying to find my perfect case here. I usually have a vertical flip case for my phones, but with my Note 2, I plan on using the Otterbox Commuter (or Defender) case. I will also have a Spigen Ultra Oleophobic screen protector on my device.

Even though I will have a screen protector on, and a rugged case, I still want to have a flip cover.
