I recently installed Fedora 13 on my hp 6730b laptop alongside Windows 7 on an extended partition. Everything's working fine but I can't click using the synaptic touchpad. The cursor is moving around fine using the touchpad but to click I need to use the left button.
Hi,I recently installed Statler to my new laptop, a Gateway LT3119u. It all seems to work well, with the exception of the touchpad. I have been able to boot into openbox with a properly working touchpad only once.
I want to test four Linux distributions: Kubuntu 9.10, Fedora 12, OpenSUSE 11.2 and Chakra Alpha 4.
Hello guys and girls of Fedoraforum.org!
I'm new to this whole linux thing, but slowly getting everything figured out. After a few days i got my laptop working pretty much good, got the battery problem fixed, and everything works properly.
Everything but my damn touchpad. For some reason Fedora recognizes the touchpad as a "PS/2 Generic wheel mouse" .
How To Auto-Disable The Touchpad When The Mouse Is Plugged In
(Fedora 13)
Hello all, hopefully this brief how-to will help others, this issue
has been bugging me for years.
I have a new install of Fedora 17 64 bit with KDE on a HP 2000-416DX laptop. After installation, using the touchpad moved the pointer, but the sensitivity was way too low when tapping --- I almost had to punch the touchpad to get it to register taps. I went into System Settings -> Input Devices -> Touchpad and turned the sensitivity up.
Hi all. I have a sleekbook HP Envy 4 with pre-installed Windows 8. Changed my stock hdd to Intel SSD 180 Gb. All system on it. Envy is nice, but it has some problems, that's makes me mad.
List of problem:
1. Touchpad. Sensor panel takes all touchpad area, buttons also in sensor area. So, when I want to push the button on touchpad, cursor still moves.
Any input on this is appreciated...
I am relatively new to Fedora. I have it installed on an HP EliteBook 6930p and it works fine there. I also put F17 on my Dell Mini 1012 and there is a problem that doesn't happen on the HP. Namely, I cannot click and drag with the touchpad.
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 and I noticed that my right ¨touchpad click¨ isn´t working at all. My touchpad is working fine 2 finger scrolling also works but right click doesn´t work. The tochpad worked fine under windows 7. The touchpad has a physical click, but I dont now if it knows the difference between left and right click. Is there some kind of solution for this problem?
