ive been attempting to edit the status bar pngs as a custom background instead of a solid color, but it stays the color it was. any way to get around this? ive got a nice wood grain bg i want to use.
First, I would just like to thank you for at least taking the time to read this.
I would like to clarify what I am referring to by saying “status bar”, because I know that there is some ambiguity as to what a status bar could be. For my case, I am talking about the 20px high bar that shows battery information, time, carrier, etc.
Hey err'one !
Ok, I have gravity box installed and I have turned on the option for status bar colors. My issue is the colors I have selected are not shown all the time. For instance, on my home screen, the status bar background remains black. But if i go into the messaging app, or dialer, the bar turns to the color I selected.
I've been trying to customize my Ubuntu 12.04 Unity desktop.
I like to have my desktop as clean and simple as possible, where the colors of the background image are shared by every other item.
To accomplish this I edited the Radiance theme.
I used My Unity for launcher color and transparency and also for top panel transparency.
In this app the Walmart App the status bar is the color of the action bar, not the background. I would assume that it still uses android:windowTranslucentStatus, but is there anything more specific I need to achieve the look?
